On-line Conference «International Holding Companies for Ukrainian Business»

On February 10 2010, at 11a.m., an on-line conference entitled «International Holding Structures for Ukrainian Business» took place on the LIGA:ZAKON portal.

Andriy Vyshnevsky, Senior Partner, Head of Restructuring and Corporate Law Practice, and Roman Ognevyuk, Counsel, acted as experts in the conference and answered questions posed by the participants.

The following issues were discussed during the conference:

    * Considering reasons for creating international holding structures.
    * Choosing favourable jurisdictions for establishing holding companies.
    * Determining the form of a holding structure depending on the goals of its creation.
    * Taking preliminary steps toward establishing holding companies and overcoming related difficulties.
